The patent-pending
SpeedLoc™ System
is comprised of two parts – a precision “receiver” and “locator” in
addition to a high grade alloy fastener to secure the two.
This system enables the accurate location and locking of fixture
plates to base or subplates in a matter of just seconds. >> Click an image for an expanded view.
Step
Place fixture plate over sub-plate or machine table containing
SpeedLoc receivers. For horizontal applications use the patent
pending SpeedLoc fixture plate docking systems.
Step
Insert SpeedLoc precision locator through the fixture plate
liner bushing (or hole) and into the receiver pocket.
Step
Hand tighten with standard Allen wrench or use the exclusive
SpeedLoc Quick-Knob or T-Handle.
Step
Torque as required.
Step
Ready to begin machining.
When properly positioned
and locked, SpeedLoc fasteners possess a clamping strength in
excess of 45,000 lbs. This extremely high strength makes SpeedLoc
secured indexers and other process devices capable of direct
connectivity to hydraulic actuators and other systems.
